Parkway Consumers Co-operative is hiring a Petroleum Manager at our Bulk Petroleum Department in Roblin, Manitoba.

What you’ll do:
Reporting to the General Manager, the Petroleum Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day execution of petroleum operations. You will meet or exceed budgeted goals by providing leadership and direction to the Petroleum Department Team Members.
The Petroleum Manager will:
• Be responsible for achieving efficient buying, inventory management, and pricing strategies to reach ideal sales and margins
• Be responsible for developing and achieving operating plans and budgets
• Be responsible for developing a strong workplace culture and building strong customer relationships
• Be able to identify unmet customer needs and make recommendations accordingly
• Provide leadership of the department’s human resources needs including employee relations, recruitment and training, development, succession planning, performance management, discipline, recognition and motivation, administration of policies
• Work co-operatively with all departments and suppliers
• Promote the sale and use of Co-op petroleum, lubricants, fuel equipment, and promote Co-op’s branding initiatives

Who you are:
You are looking for a retail career in Petroleum and:
• Have exceptional customer service skills with high housekeeping standards
• Have excellent communication skills
• You have knowledge of petroleum, lubricants and of regional industries
• You have a valid Class 5 driver’s license
• Have 3 years of relevant experience or 3-6 years in a leadership position
• You are team oriented
• You are honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do
• You place a strong importance on Health & Safety policies and procedures
