Parkway Co-op is hiring a Full Time Sales Agronomist in our Agro Centre in Roblin, Manitoba.

What you’ll do:
Reporting to the Agro Manager, the Sales Agronomist is responsible for field scouting, customer sales, farm contacts, customer acquisition, inventory control and merchandising. Under direct supervision, the Sales Agronomist will provide routine support, services, and knowledge of agronomic products to local co-op customers. Providing basic agronomic information and advice on seed, pest identification, crop protection, and crop nutrition so local co-op customers can make informed decisions based on reported findings. The Sales Agronomist will be working collaboratively with the entire Grow Team in order to effectively serve our grower customers agronomic needs, while also assisting the Equip Team to provide the best customer experience possible.
Who you are:

• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Proven understanding of agronomic practices
• Highly efficient organizational abilities
• Demonstrate strong leadership skills
• Degree or Diploma in Agriculture and/or CCA
• Strong communication skills; both oral and written
• Must possess a valid Class 5 Driver’s License
• Registered or eligible for registration as a Technical Agrologist or Professional Agrologist with the Manitoba Institute of Agrologists
